everybody needs art part ii

April 1, 2009

“Painting” tonight was so much fun.  This was my first kick at it since I can remember so while they might not look too cool they represent some pretty significant milestones to me!

Playing around just seeing how some of the colours work.

I liked the look of the trees (you can see part of them at the bottom) and that purple and orange blob on the left and my first “work of art” became an extension of those two things.  And of course with my enjoyment of the rock book I had to try drawing a few of those too.

I’m really enjoying this art thing I’ve rediscovered through Waldorf – I’ve been needle felting, knitting, reading great books, playing recorder and now “painting”.  And there’s so much more still!

  1. Fun fun fun!

  2. You’re so going to love your studies in Toronto, aren’t you!

  3. Yes, I’m loving this part of it. The interesting part is that I didn’t over think what I was making too much and I had no idea (or expectation) of what I was going to be making.
